ABOUT SAFIATOU BARRY
I’m a marketing and communications professional with experience creating content, planning events, and connecting with diverse audiences. Over the past few years, I’ve worked on social media campaigns, student engagement initiatives, and corporate communications, learning how to balance creativity with organization. I’ve managed social media for organizations like WhatsApp, Bubble, and my sorority, Alpha Chi Omega, making graphics, posts, and event promotions that really resonate with people. I’ve also interned with Zia’s Beauties and ESL Federal Credit Union, where I got hands-on experience with marketing strategy, Adobe Creative Suite, and website design in a corporate setting.I’m proud to be a recipient of the Taco Bell Foundation Scholarship, which recognizes leadership, academic achievement, and community involvement. That experience motivated me to keep finding ways to create meaningful connections and make an impact through my work.I enjoy roles where I can combine creativity and organization, whether it’s planning events, leading DEI initiatives, or producing marketing materials.
