Safia is a Registered Nurse (RN) with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) from Mercer University- Georgia Baptist College of Nursing. Safia provides clinical expertise and guidance for Anthem National Accounts, Southeast Region. She joined National Accounts in 2019 as a Total Health Clinical Executive and will celebrate her 19th year with Anthem in 2020.Safia’s direct knowledge and experience in the areas of clinical strategy, leadership, value based clinical solutions, vendor integration, product support and operations integration has positioned her with diverse capabilities and an expansive footprint within multiple facets of managed care. Safia has supported Local Commercial, National Accounts and Integrated Health Models. Most recently, Safia provided strategic leadership and operational oversight of Medical Management Operations in the SE region. Safia has an extensive understanding of the needs of health care consumers and providers as well as the complexities that can create barriers in achieving optimal, holistic health. Safia’s passion for health and wellness is the catalyst for expanding her scope of knowledge and her overall clinical impact.
