I am a visionary leader with over 20 years of experience in community organizing and non-profit development. I have successfully led seven (7) non-profit organizations, significantly enhancing strategic efficiency and infrastructure competency. My expertise encompasses non-profit governance, institutional frameworks, board engagement, and community mobilization.In the early stages of my career, I worked in the private tech sector as a project management leader in cloud-based data management solutions. I eventually shifted my focus to civic and social non-profit causes, driven by my passion for community service and a commitment to advancing charitable causes.Currently, I serve as the inaugural Vice President of the USA Board of Directors for Yalla Kafala. Previously, I held leadership and governing roles at CAIR-SFBA, CAIR-CA, GiveLight Foundation, and Averroes Institute; and I co-founded the American Muslim Community Foundation. Fueled by a commitment to achieve compassionate, sustainable change, I cultivate strategic planning and stakeholder relationships to advance organizational missions.
