I am a Material Scientist / Mechanical Engineer with a passion for polymers, their physical properties and their flow behavior. I support various departments within my organization on questions related to rheology, processing (extrusion, mixing, compounding) and CFD (Computational Fluid Mechanics). Using numerical modeling techniques (COMSOL, MATLAB) to predict complex flow scenarios, I help my organization (and occasionally, its customers) to make intelligent processing and mixing equipment choices based on simulation results. Such activities are in line both with the demands of an icreasingly digitized world, and the need to reduce material and energy costs.
