Mr. Saeid Aramideh is the Vice President of Business Development at ADVA Optical Engines Business Unit, responsible for the global market entry/expansion strategies for the company’s innovative product solutions.Mr. Saeid Aramideh is also the president of Aramideh, LLC, a consulting firm providing sales/marking, product/program management, business development, market research, technology and due-diligence services for the Telecommunication and Information Technology industries.Previously, Saeid was the Co-Founder and Chief Marketing & Sales Officer for RANOVUS Inc, a leading provider of innovative interconnect solutions for next generation telecommunications and IT enterprises. Mr. Aramideh is responsible for all aspects of RANOVUS’ marketing and commercial strategies, focused on achieving global deployment of company’s technology and a path towards profitability.Previously, Mr. Aramideh held the position of Senior Vice President of Marketing, Business Development and Sales for CoreOptics Inc, until its acquisition by Cisco Systems in 2010. During his seven-year tenure with CoreOptics, Mr. Aramideh led the company’s annual sales generation and ramp to over $50 MUS as well as the deployment of the CoreOptics’ Distortion Tolerant portfolio of 10G MLSE and 40G/100G Coherent optical subsystems in over 15 service provider networks.Mr. Aramideh has held executive level positions at Iolon, Corvis and Nortel Networks in product development, marketing and sales. During his tenure at Corvis, Mr. Aramideh played a major role in the introduction of an innovative Ultra-Long Haul transport (CorWave ONG) platform and in securing wins for the world’s first Optical Routing/Switching products to various tier-1 global service providers.Mr. Aramideh holds a Bachelor in Electrical Engineering from McGill University, a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and as well as an MBA from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada.
