Saeed is a Professional Electrical engineer with more than 15 years of experience in heavy industries.As an Electrical engineer in the engineering department, he has participated in the execution of several Turnkey projects totalling 4 billion US$ from design to commissioning in both office and site involved in the Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning (EPCC) of Electrical and Telecommunication systems and Equipment. Also, he has gained valuable experience as a Project Engineer actively engaged in Planning, Cost estimation and Budgeting, preparing technical proposals, Tracking the project changes, performing value engineering, and following up on the project to meet the scope, time, cost and quality-(Electrical and Telecom Engineering Expertise)- Initiating, executing, and analyzing electrical power system studies and calculations such as Load Flow, Short Circuit, Arc Flash, Protection and Coordination with ETAP, SKM, and EasyPower. Developing protection documents (including equipment SLD, Relay and metering SLD, AC schematic, DC schematic, Panel GA, Panel BOM, Wiring diagram) as a P&C engineer. Performing the Electromagnetic Transient Studies with PSCAD (including SOV, Breaker TRV, Transformer Switching etc.) as a Power system study engineer. Developing basic and detail design of electrical and telecommunication systems including Gas turbine generator, HV Power transformer, Emergency diesel generator, HV GIS, HV/MV/LV switchgears and MCC, AC/DC UPS, Electric Motor, SCADA, PDCS/PMS, Capacitor bank, PABX, PA/GA, Radio mobile, CCTV, AISS, etc. Preparing all engineering documents such as Design basis, Specification, Design calculation and studies, Single line diagram, Datasheet, Load list, I/O list, Protection and schematics, Schedules, Layouts and MTO, and HVDC Cable sizing. CSA, UL, IEC, NEC, NFPA, API standards and ATEX regulations-(Engineering services during Procurement, Construction and Commissioning phases)- Preparing technical project proposal and commercial quotation (Budget price and Man-hour) Participated in the inspection tests during the manufacturing, final quality inspections, installation and commissioning. Controlling, verifying and validating the quality of deliverables in compliance with project specifications, procedures, regulations, standards and contracts. Providing technical support to the construction and commissioning for RFI, Shop drawings and Engineering Change Notice (ECN) as a field engineer Performing site investigations and visiting factories and sites.
