As a Compliance Operations Manager, I specialize in strengthening compliance frameworks and ensuring robust risk mitigation throughout the global customer onboarding process.I am currently working as a Compliance Operations Manager, where my core responsibilities include the following- Verifying all compliance documents during the global customer onboarding process, Conducting detailed verification of compliance documents for all clients, including thorough checks on Legal Representatives (LR), Ultimate Beneficial Owners (UBOs), Directors, and Intermediary entities. Coordinating with the Risk team to ensure comprehensive risk assessments were completed & we are okay to onboard the customer. Collaborating closely with the Transaction Monitoring team to scrutinize high-risk trades, bunkering trades on a day to day basis. Ensuring Customer Due Diligence (CDD) refreshers are completed within stipulated timelines as per the Risk Based Approach (RBA) followed. Implementing process improvements and system upgrades in close collaboration with the Product team to enhance operational efficiency. Performing daily monitoring through World-Check (LSEG) & making sure that the screenings are effective. Conducting training sessions for the sales team, risk team & other business areas as and when required. Facilitating Video KYC in partnership with Business and customers to maintain compliance integrity.These efforts drive a robust compliance environment, ensuring thorough risk management and process excellence.
