As part of the CULTIVATE program, I am mentoring eight first-year student-athletes and leading a series of workshops aimed at cultivating leadership qualities. Being a mentor has enhanced my leadership, team-building, and organizational skills. Additionally, as part of the EMERGING LEADERS program, I am working with a group of 80 student-athletes to understand how to adapt my behavioral tendencies while in a leadership role and become a more effective leader.
