Utilizing a collaborative team approach with Wagner-Peyser Staff, Partners and other resources for Veterans, which are eligible for Jobs for Veterans State Grant (JVSG) Program, as a Disabled Veterans Outreach Program Specialist (DVOP). Providing individualized career services to Veterans and other eligible clients, which are eligible to receive Veterans Specialist Services. Provide staff assisted services in conjunction with individualized services to provide to veteran clients the means to accomplish their employment goals, whether long, short, or intermediate. Provide individual counseling to identify employment and training opportunities, career guidance, and/or career planning. Moreover, utilizing various data sources and an integrated service approach to conduct, and track outreach to Veterans with a service connected rating, and other eligible clients. Servicing Veterans by providing employment leads and employer referrals. Preparing Veterans to obtain permanent, and long term employment. Facilitate learning workshops, which are vital to assisting Veterans to obtain permanent long term employment.
