About Sadhana Singh

I worked in the Research and Development department at Promea Therapeutics, where I focused on molecular biology. In this role, I gained practical laboratory skills such as extracting DNA and RNA from samples, preparing laboratory buffers, and assisting in the development and testing of diagnostic kits. I acquired experience in designing primers and clones for experiments and utilized basic bioinformatics tools, including NCBI resources and BLAST, to analyze and compare DNA, RNA, and protein sequences. I consistently sought ways to improve the accuracy and reliability of laboratory methods. My work also involved performing bacterial transformation using various E. coli strains like DH5α, BL21, Shuffle, and Rosetta, as well as using IPTG to induce protein production and optimize this process. Additionally, I prepared and characterized master cell banks (MCB) and working cell banks (WCB). These experiences provided me with a strong foundation in molecular biology, and I remain eager to continue learning and contributing to scientific research.
