ABOUT SADAF SOLATI

I’m a molecular and cell biologist with hands-on experience in mammalian tissue culture, cell engineering, and cancer research. I’ve worked with a range of models, including primary immune cells, patient-derived organoids, and engineered cancer lines, and I’m skilled in assays like PCR/qPCR, microscopy, and co-culture systems. During my Master’s at McGill, I developed in-vitro models to study immune–tumor interactions and drug resistance. Now as a research assistant at LDI I work on generating drug-resistant models. These projects strengthened my ability to design experiments, troubleshoot, and generate high-quality, reproducible data. I’m known for being curious, adaptable, and proactive in learning new technologies. I’m especially motivated by research that connects scientific tools with real-world impact in drug discovery and therapeutic development.
