About Sadaf Khanam
As a Program Manager Livelihoods at Nomi Network, I oversee and drive the strategic direction of the livelihoods program on a national scale in India. I collaborate with diverse stakeholders, such as government agencies, nonprofit organizations, and community leaders, to design and implement comprehensive initiatives that foster economic growth and social well-being. With more than 9 years of dynamic experience in the non-governmental and governmental sector, I have a strong track record of creating sustainable livelihood options for the beneficiaries in three major states of Bihar, West Bengal and Odisha. I have led scoping studies, value chain development, impact assessment, and stakeholder engagement for various projects, such as production and remote center unit, poultry life cycle and money exchange, and sanitary pad business plan. I have also managed the budget, fund disbursement, donor reporting, and proposal writing for different partnerships. I hold a Masters in Social Work from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, and I have multiple certifications in Livelihoods and WaSH. I am passionate about empowering communities and enhancing their quality of life.

As a consultant I have provided my services to Access Development Services in conducting an Agro Ecological Value chain Study. As a part of this study I conducted a detailed secondary research on 5 major crops essentially groundnut, capsicum, pomegranate, chilli and cashew. The study comprised mostly of secondary research combined with first hand data on the government sites like APEDA AGMARK and National Horticulture Board. Currently I am working with Access as consultant-Business coach. As a part of this profile I will be providing technical support to the enterprises(MSEs) and Producer Organization Enterprises for business growth and expansion. Facilitate sustainable growth, enhance agro ecological outcomes and provide tangible benefits to small producers in the value chain. I shall be providing guidance in budgeting, financial inputs, and financial projections which determines the profit/loss and break even in a business
