ABOUT SACHIN PRABHU
I’m a cloud and platform engineer with a PhD and research background in machine learning, which gives me a blend of quantitative depth and practical infrastructure experience. I work mainly with Python on AWS and Kubernetes, focusing on distributed, large‑scale systems and the reliability, scalability, and observability they require. My academic work at the University of Sheffield involved multiscale modelling with Monte Carlo simulations and probabilistic models, as well as mathematical optimisation and graph theory, training me to reason rigorously about complex systems and trade‑offs. I’m particularly interested in infrastructure and MLOps for quantitative research and algorithmic trading platforms – from data and research pipelines to model deployment and monitoring – and I’m currently building my career in operations with a clear path towards DevOps and MLOps in quantitatively driven environments.
