Managing technology operations for the worldwide core and backbone network of one of the world\'s largest financial institutions as a Technology Operations Specialist. Acting as the Level 3 escalation point for operational support of internal Core, DC, WAN, LAN, IP, and Optical routing environment.• Responsible for all Tier 3 functions across multiple platforms such as Cisco DWDM, Cisco ASR, Cisco Nexus, Arista 400G platform, and Core LAN/MAN/WAN technologies - IPv4, Routing Protocols (BGP, EIGRP, ISIS, OSPF), QoS, L3VPN/MPLS, L2VPN, DWDM, Tunnelling protocol (MACSEC, IPSEC), and Multicast.• Managing technology-based projects and maintaining carrier relationships and vendor management, performing equipment software and hardware integration into customer backbone transport networks, including regression testing.• Participating in documenting application flows, upstream/downstream impacts during outages, customer experience in failure scenarios, contacts for various support needs, and ensuring appropriate runbooks and wikis are up to date and available for use during triage.• Maintaining network using different tools such as Cisco Managed Services Platform, NetScout, Wireshark, Splunk, SevOne, HPNA, NNMI, OBM, IBM Watson, NSO for Network Performance Management, and BMC Remedy for IT Service Management.• Managing Metro DWDM, OLA, OADM, multi-degree, and RAMAN-amplified systems, and large-scale network infrastructure involving leased carrier waves, OSP fiber, and multi-fiber connectivity.
