With over 20 years of experience in the technology and data domain, I am a self-motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented professional who leads digital transformation projects that deliver successful business outcomes. I am a certified information privacy manager (CIPM) with expertise in data virtualization, data protection, data privacy, data catalog, and cloud technologies.As a Vice President at Nomura, I have played a pivotal role in implementing and adopting a data virtualization solution (Denodo) within the firm, using a data mesh approach to enable unified data access for various business units and regions. I have also led the data protection and privacy stream for the cloud data platform, selecting and integrating Immuta as a tool for data masking, access control, and policy management for Snowflake data. Additionally, I have implemented a firm-wide data catalog for data discovery and led IT transformation programs for data governance. Through these initiatives, I have demonstrated my ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders, resolve technical and business issues, and design innovative and scalable solutions. I have also managed data ingestion pipelines for Snowflake and developed a custom utility to dynamically create Snowflake masking policies based on user inputs using Streamlit and Snowpark.I have a keen interest in building solutions and help implement use cases using Generative AI to drive employee/user efficiencies and increase productivity.

   Data Virtualization:Expanded the scope of Denodo to multiple business units and across multiple regions. Leading the initiative for hybrid cloud architecture with Denodo as data mesh engine.Data Protection (Immuta)• Led the PoC for Data Protection with a couple of industry standard tools and evaluated their applicability for critical use cases within the firm using cloud data warehouse. Designed operating model for data protection to implement policy based access for datasets on public cloud (Snowflake).• Engineered integration and DR strategy between the two SaaS products on AWS – Snowflake and Immuta using private link, DNS and client connect redirect URLs. • Collaborated with legal, compliance and data privacy teams of each region to explain the rationale behind data protection and obtained approvals for moving required confidential and non-sensitive PII data on public cloud (Immuta).• Managed metadata promotion across environments using Immuta APIs via CI/CD pipelines.
