PRODUCT LIFE CYCLE (Automotive Product Development)-Quadri-cycle (L7M Category) & Auto-Rickshaw (L5M & L5N Category): Responsible for Design & Development of Interior, Exterior & Accessories trims. COMPONENTS DESIGNED & DEVELOPED-• INTERIOR TRIMS : Dashboard (IP) & Upper Trims | Mirrors | Panel Covers | Door Trims. Dashboard (IP) with HVAC system | Overhead fan | Pillar ventilation. Headliners | Carpet | Floor Mats.• EXTERIOR TRIMS : HOOD (canopy)| Exterior Sun-visor | Luggage box | Insulations.KEY DELIVERABLES –• Preparing & monitoring project charter chart for Interior- Trims team.• Responsible for deliverables of Design against projects/programmes timeline.• Addressing all T&V-review, DR, PR & REQP forum.• Actively involved in Conducting & Evaluating various VAVE proposals.• Reviewing & checking of DIDS, DFMEA, DVP, DG & KAIZENS.• Interaction with various Departments / Teams for meeting programs deliverables/gates.• Reviewing & approving work-flows related to design releases / modification.• Clearance activities - Tooling kick-off & Graining.• Fitment proving of components on Production/Pre-pilot batch. • Handled design Quality Management function role for TRIMS and BIW department.KEY ACHIEVEMENTS –• Improved fit & finish of interior as well as exterior trims of RE Compact vehicle.• Successful implementation of VAVE idea in RE-Compact (Hood): Saving Rs. 1.33 Cr / Annum.• Successful implementation of VAVE ideas in Qute (Luggage box & Floor Mats): Saving Rs. 120/ Vehicle.• Successful implementation of VAVE idea in RE-Maxima (Hood - Belt): Saving Rs. 21 Lakhs / Annum.
