I am an experienced professional with a strong background in managing Specialty Insurance Single Risks Modeling teams. I manage a team of 8 wonderful CAT modellers from different regions and a third company that supports us in the modelling process.Currently, I oversee key aspects of the Specialty Insurance divisions, which include various lines of business such as Property, Energy, Construction, Marine, Fine Art Specie, and Political Violence. In my role, I manage the catastrophe (CAT) modelling, contribution, and accumulation processes, ensuring that the analysis results are accurate and reflect the underlying exposures.I provide essential support to underwriters by helping them effectively interpret CAT model outputs. As a leader, I emphasize team development and cross-disciplinary collaboration, working closely with pricing actuaries and internal stakeholders to create a productive and innovative environment. I am passionate about driving transformation and efficiency in CAT modelling processes, using advanced techniques like machine learning to enhance operational capabilities.With a strong focus on portfolio optimization, I head multiple transformation projects with a strong view of streamlining the current process.I collaborate with various teams to refine CAT risk selection and ensure that capital deployment generates significant returns. I play a key role in maintaining consistency in CAT modeling approaches across SCOR P&C and SCOR Syndicate, adhering to established guidelines to manage natural catastrophe risks effectively.
