Control-M Administrator | Synechron Key Responsibilities:• Identify and resolve issues, and ensure the systems are operating smoothly.• When a problem arises with a mainframe and Distributed system or application, responsible for quick identification and the root cause of the issue and determine the appropriate resolution This may involve debugging, analyzing logs, or working with other teams to diagnose the problem• Responsible for implementing fixes and changes to production systems, applications, and batch jobs• work with developers to implement changes and test them before deploying to production• Interact with infrastructure, release management, change management, QA, DBA and application teams.• Provide regular status reports to management on application status and other metrics.• Coordinate escalation and resolution of major service issues with proper allocation of resources.• Responsible for Control-M Component installations like CTM or EM HA server, archiving server, agent and AFT, DB modules, Workload change Manager and Creation of AFT and Control-M for database connection profiles and Respective jobs.• Providing access to user based on requirement.• Creating Workload policies and Services for users • Responsible for project Transition and handover from the customer.• Participate in scheduled activities like release, patching, Migration and Disaster recovery. Testing of critical chains on nonproduction and deploying them on production using workload change managerSkills Utilized:• Proficiency in Control-M Workload Automation software, including job scheduling, monitoring, and administration.• Strong understanding of batch processing concepts, including job dependencies, triggers, and scheduling constraints.• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Shell, PowerShell, or Python for automation and integration tasks.• Familiarity with enterprise IT infrastructure components, including servers, databases, and network systems.• Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues in production environments.• Communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining system integrity, security, and compliance.Duration:22 June 2023 - Till now
