Identify the needs of the production plan and arrange the RM from specified suppliers to ensure the smooth running of lines without any supply shortage. Conversion of PR to PO, & review if any PO Error in ERP (SAP). Identifying potential risks in the supply chain and implement strategies to mitigate them. Advance Risk analysis for production line breakage due to RM shortage. Judge the capacity of the vendor to ensure the smooth supply of materials. Keeping the update of supplier RM & FG stock to ensure smooth future supply. Plan delivery from vendors in a timely manner as per their pre – commitment. Working closely with the quality assurance team to ensure that purchased materials and components meet the required quality standards and specifications. Collaborating with inventory team management team to optimize inventory levels and minimize excess or obsolete inventory while ensuring uninterrupted production Collaborating with the product development team during the introduction of new models to ensure the necessary materials are sourced timely and meet the required specifications. Release Purchase Order (SAP) to the supplier in a timely manner as per prod plan / month requirement. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of material and resolve any issue that may arise. This involve regular communication and performance evaluations.
