I have extensive experience in complex cross-border legal issues including international child abduction, international child relocation and international child arrangements, as well as cases involving the inherent jurisdiction of the High Court (including Wardship) and the international recognition and enforcement of orders.My other core practice is in private children law, advising on a broad spectrum of matters including child arrangements, domestic abuse, addiction, domestic child relocation, domestic child abduction, enforcement and high conflict cases.In addition, I frequently assist clients in mediation or other Non-Court Dispute Resolution (NCDR), helping families reach amicable resolutions in the best interests of their children. I also have a care proceedings practice.I regularly write pieces and deliver talks for the media on a variety of domestic and international Children Law topics, including at the ICCFR annual conference in Malta. Since January 2025 I have been providing the European Case updates (INCADAT, CJEU and ECHR) to the International Family Law Journal quarterly.I am a member of the Child Abduction Lawyers Association (CALA), Resolution, Careful Child Relocation, the Association of Lawyers for Children (ALC) and the East London Family Justice Board. I am also a member of the Lexis+ UK Family ‘next generation’ Consulting Editorial Board (CEB). More recently, I have been appointed to the Council of The ICCFR (International Commission on Couple and Family Relations).I write and speak some French and am learning Slovenian.Distinction (average 90%) in the Legal Practice Course (2021)High commendation in the Graduate Diploma in Law (2019).2:1 (BA Hons) Classics Graduate from Jesus College, University of Cambridge (2018)
