ABOUT SABYASACHI MANDAL

I\'m a Research Associate at JNCASR, Bengaluru, where I explore innovative therapeutic approaches for neurodegenerative diseases, with a focus on Alzheimer\'s disease and neuroinflammation. I recently completed my Ph.D. at JNCASR. My research interests lie at the intersection of chemical biology and therapeutics, as I delve into the design and development of peptides and small molecules to target pathways involved in neurodegeneration.My work involves key laboratory skills such as molecular synthesis, peptide design, and the synthesis of both native and modified peptides. Additionally, I conduct in cellulo studies and employ techniques like Western blotting and quantitative PCR (qPCR) to analyze molecular interactions and assess therapeutic efficacy. These techniques allow me to examine critical disease pathways and develop molecules that can modulate neuroinflammatory responses. By addressing underlying inflammation mechanisms, I aim to contribute to therapeutic options that could significantly impact patients\' lives.As I continue to build my expertise in neurodegeneration, I am keen to connect with professionals and organizations dedicated to advancing healthcare solutions for neurodegenerative disorders.
