Sabrina Keller, Founder and CEO of The Aquatic Connection (TAC)– a family of swim, lifeguard,and instructor education corporations– provides aquatic professionals with in-depth, reality-based training, certifications, and continuing education opportunities.Upon completing her Masters in Elementary Education at Sacred Heart University in 2011,Sabrina began her career as an elementary school teacher in New York. All the while, Sabrinawas fostering her love for swimming. As such, she merged these passions and also taught swimlessons, as well as trained aquatics professionals on how to teach.In 2015, Sabrina established the first in her family of corporations— NEK Swim, which laterbecame TATS Kids’ Swim School— to offer individual and group swim lessons for children ages2-13 years at private and public locations throughout Vermont.Then in 2018, pulling from her years of teaching, aquatic instructor training, and mentoring,Sabrina expanded the company’s services with the establishment of the Aquatic TrainingAcademy (ATA), to provide lifesaver, safety, and swim teacher certifications nationwide.Delivered on-site at public and private organizations nationwide— from camps and open watersites to water parks and indoor facilities— the ATA’s programming is a reality-based,multifaceted educational experience, which also includes American Red Cross certifications. Inaddition to cross-training opportunities, Sabrina’s student-centered approach to educationfurther differentiates the ATA.Sabrina is passionate about sharing the depth and breadth of her aquatic and educatorexperience to help ensure water safety in communities nationwide. As such, in 2022, sheformalized her parent company— The Aquatic Connection, LLC— which is based in Vermontand comprises the TATS Kids’ Swim School and the ATA.An educator at heart, Sabrina is committed to teaching people of all ages about water safety,swim skill competency, and what to do in the event of a water emergency.
