My passion lies in helping businesses recognize the opportunities and benefits of enhancing innovation and addressing complex health problems. My academic journey led me to conduct two theses in hospitals under the guidance of clinical research doctors – one in the Operating Room and the other in a research hospital focused on schizophrenia. One thesis explored tech adoption, while the other delved into pharmaceutical interventions for schizophrenia, aiming to improve quality of life through better adherence to prescriptions and weight management. This latter area, often underfunded due to its rarity, motivated me to secure a grant to further my research at CAMH. I am particularly interested in exploring opportunities that converge technology and pharmaceuticals, especially in the realms of pharmacoeconomic evaluation, healthcare innovation, decision-making, and reimbursements.
