As a Poll Operations Manager (POM) for the Mont-Royal region of Montreal, I am a liaison between the election office, region director and all the polling locations for advance election days and election day. I manage all operations including locations, workers, contingency plans, necessary materials and all the logistics. My job also requires me to implement pandemic regulations. I coordinate leases, material distribution and communications between employees and locations. It is an experience that focuses on problem solving, conflict resolution, analytical skills and leadership.
