About Sabrina Aery
I\'ve made it my mission to cut through the red tape of healthcare policy, ensuring life-saving therapies reach those who need them most. Starting from hands-on roles across payers, community hospital, and state health systems, I\'ve gained a 360-degree view of the healthcare landscape. As Executive Director of US/Global Health System Analytics and Innovation, I lead an expert team that assesses the business impacts of global policy evolution, working closely with our global policy and government affairs team. We also manage US Medicare MFP negotiations and 340B strategy. Finally my team leads Innovation efforts for Market Access overall. During the chaos of the COVID-19 pandemic, I tackled the complexities of Global equitable access to essential COVID therapies heading market access and government affairs for a COVID mAb duo BMS was developing. In the area of US Policy, I took on formidably complex 340B reform, establishing a manufacturer roundtable. Lead discussions with the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the White House OMB, leading to pivotal regulatory changes. I also worked with legal and compliance to execute compliance across state-level drug price transparency initiatives Outside of work, I share my expertise as a guest lecturer at the USC Alfred E. Mann School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, shaping the next generation of healthcare leaders. I\'m also a frequent speaker at key industry conferences. I firmly believe that innovation and leadership are the keys to transforming healthcare. My leadership philosophy is simple: collaboration, innovation, and an unyielding focus on patient outcomes. By uniting cross-functional teams and forging strategic partnerships, I create sustainable solutions that advance healthcare access and equity. I turn policy challenges into opportunities, helping our pharmaceutical company navigate rapidly evolving external environments. To know me is to understand my mission: Transforming healthcare policy and access barriers into people-focused solutions.
