ABOUT SABRI UZUNER

Sabri Uzuner is an accomplished academic and researcher specializing in mechatronics engineering, biomedical engineering, and automation systems. His interdisciplinary research spans biomechanical modeling, robotic systems, and industrial automation, with a particular focus on finite element modeling and poromechanics.He holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Kocaeli University and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Schulich School of Engineering, University of Calgary, where he focused on poromechanical modeling of human knee joints. Currently, he serves as an Assistant Professor in Mechatronics Engineering at Düzce University and maintains an academic collaboration with the University of Calgary in biomechanics and computational modeling.Dr. Uzuner has led and contributed to several high-impact research projects funded by TÜBİTAK and NSERC. He has authored multiple SCI/SCIE-indexed journal articles and has presented at prestigious international conferences. His work has earned recognition, including a Bronze Medal at the ISIF’23 Istanbul International Invention Fair.Beyond academia, he holds patents in smart manufacturing and biomedical applications and provides consultancy in industrial automation, embedded systems, and robotic design.
