Whilst running my own business I have also completed freelance projects from planning stages to completion, coordinating with both the planning departments and engineers whilst also reporting back to client:• Preparing and presenting design proposals using AutoCAD, under demanding timescales.• Production of planning drawings, construction drawings and notes to the relevant scales (i.e. 1:500) along side location (1:1250) and block plans (1:500), produced from onsite surveys and measures.• Liaising with the relevant Planning Authorities and amending the design to suit any recommendations.• Co-ordinating engineers recommendations and filtering this through into the end design.• Ensuring that designs meet the necessary Building Regulations and any other third party standards.• Leading the detailed design process and co-ordinating detailed design information• Developing the project design, researching problems & producing, developing and advising upon innovative solutions.• Producing, analysing and advising upon specification, materials selection and detailed design solutions in relation to performance and production criteria.• Producing, managing, controlling and integrating design and production information.
