Responsible for the development, implementation, documentation, and maintenance of a comprehensive and efficient local trade compliance program for four internal business lines. • Oversee the operational aspects of the local trade compliance programs and drive continuous improvement and collaboration with Headquarters in France as well as among international business lines.• Design and implement comprehensive tariff mitigation measures to avoid and reduce tariff burden (e.g, tariff engineering, implementation of temporary import bonds and duty drawback programs)• Provide guidance and assessments for strategic decisions regarding trade compliance topics for Executive Leadership Teams. • Develop and implement training programs customized for specific business needs and job roles.• Implement classification processes in collaboration with Engineering Teams for accurate and consistent product / SW / Technology classifications (USML, ECCN, HTS, Schedule B) and manage export license applications. • Perform audits and risk assessments to achieve higher level of compliance and process efficiency.• Perform transactional reviews for imports to submit post-entry corrections and / or protests, if necessary.• Manage U.S. Customs Brokers and freight forwarders regarding Customs clearance and export filing (EEI).• Advise SAP support teams on trade compliance requirements and collaborate in SAP migration and development projects.
