ABOUT SABINA MENSCHEL
I have more than 25 years of experience leading domestic and international due diligence, litigation support, fraud, and global asset recovery investigations on behalf of financial institutions, law firms, and multinational corporations. In addition to leading complex investigations, I currently work with Nardello & Co.\'s executive committee to manage global operations. I have been recognized by Global Investigations Review as one of their leading Women in Investigations and as a Band 2 investigator by Chambers and Partners. Among my significant public matters, I helped lead Nardello & Co.’s assignment as the independent investigator to resolve conflicts arising from the settlement agreement between the State of New York and leading tobacco manufacturers.Prior to joining Nardello & Co, I helped establish the investigative practice at an international risk consultancy. I began my investigative career as a research analyst at a corporate investigations and risk consulting firm, rose to director of research for the firm’s New York office, and then to global head of training for the firm’s Business Intelligence and Investigations practice. After receiving my MBA, I served as a Special Advisor in the Directorate of Intelligence at the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s headquarters in Washington, DC. There, I worked to refine and strengthen the FBI’s intelligence-gathering capabilities and implement its intelligence-transformation efforts in response to the recommendations of the 9/11 Commission.
