ABOUT SABHARISH SAPPA

I am a 2024 BTech CSE graduate from NIT Durgapur, where I achieved a CGPA of 8.92. My academic background has equipped me with a strong foundation in programming languages and computer science concepts, preparing me for a successful career in software development.Currently, I work as a Software Development Engineer at PhonePe in the Merchant Payment Solutions team, contributing to backend development using Java and microservices. Previously, I was a Software Engineer Trainee at Vonage, where I gained hands-on experience with Java Spring Boot and microservices architecture. I worked on backend projects, enhancing my understanding of service-oriented development.During my six-month internship at PepsiCo GBS, I applied full-stack web development skills to solve challenges in the marketing cloud. I developed custom activity applications, SFMC Cloud Pages, and automation dashboards. Additionally, I created two-layer security applications and custom activities that significantly boosted the ROI of marketing campaigns by completing their proof of concept.I also gained valuable experience as a NodeJS Intern at Celebal Technologies, where I contributed to the full-stack development of a Real-Time Chatting Application. My innovative implementation of a tagging system within status cards earned me a Gold Badge for exceptional performance.My technical expertise spans C++, C, Java, JavaScript, Node.js, ReactJS, ExpressJS, SQL, MySQL, and MongoDB. I’m also experienced with Git, GitHub, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and monitoring tools used for ensuring system health and reliability.Beyond my technical experience, I’ve demonstrated leadership as Creative Head at SAE INDIA Collegiate Club and Senior Executive at TEDx NIT Durgapur, leading web development and graphics design projects.My achievements include being a semifinalist in the Flipkart GRiD 5.0 Hackathon, solving 500+ coding problems, ranking among the top 10 students in my department, and placing in the top 1% in JEE Mains 2020.I am passionate about contributing to impactful projects and collaborating with dynamic teams.
