ABOUT SABAH HUSSAIN
I am an experienced researcher and educator with over 6 years of expertise in Political Science, International Relations, and Gender Studies. My work is dedicated to exploring the intersections of gender, politics, and identity, with a focus on amplifying the agency of marginalized women and bringing the subaltern into the mainstream discourse.I have successfully taught and mentored more than 400 undergraduate students, fostering critical thinking and guiding them in research. My research delves into the political economy, examining how women, particularly those from marginalized communities exercise agency, engage with governance and participate in public delivery mechanisms.With over 10 publications and presentations at international conferences, I am committed to contributing to academic discourse and influencing policy. My collaborations with the Ministry of External Affairs and international universities reflect my dedication to applying research through institutional framework to the gendered bargaining, particularly in empowering women and marginalised groups.I am passionate about advancing inclusive development and look forward to leveraging my skills in a dynamic academic or research environment.
