About Saawan Duvvuri
Saawan is a highly motivated and intellectually curious student, published researcher, and nationally recognized racial activist with a passion for public policy and government\'s intersection with race, culture, and ethnicity. Saawan has worked on several research projects at Harvard and UCLA where he has become experienced in research processes, data collection, data analysis, and drafting manuscripts, and he has presented his findings at various research symposiums and conferences. Saawan is also the Founder and Executive Director of LiteratureDiversified, a youth-led non-profit with the goal of diversifying curricula in schools to foster more equitable and inclusive classrooms for underrepresented students throughout the world. For his work in racial advocacy, Saawan has been recognized by Prudential Emerging Visionaries, the Princeton Prize in Race Relations, Fox News, Yahoo Finance, and by the Ashoka Foundation where he serves as a Young Changemaker, advising organizations like UNICEF, Nickelodeon, Jack and Jill of America, Taco Bell, ChangeX, T-Mobile, and more on youth change-making and social entrepreneurship.
