About Saanvi Roy

I’m an incoming law student at Symbiosis Law School, Noida, with a deep commitment to creating social impact through advocacy, writing, and leadership.My work with Tribes for Good introduced me to grassroots realities through the Pucho Sakhi and Seekho Sakhi programs, where I helped educate people from the unorganized sector about government schemes and enrolled many on the E-Shram portal. As a YLAC participant, I actively raised awareness about gender inequality, mental well-being, and bullying via social media advocacy.A passionate reader and writer, I interned with Times NIE (TOI’s student edition) and received a letter of appreciation from its Editor-in-Chief. I was also recognized by Generation Global for engaging in global discussions on the SDGs.I served as the School Leader of St. Mary’s School, Dwarka (2024–25), and pursued the humanities stream. These diverse opportunities have shaped my critical thinking, public speaking, and writing skills and solidified my desire to pursue law as a means to drive meaningful change.
