ABOUT SAANE SIALE
I am a driven first-generation college graduate and currently a Master’s student (in Social Work) with an interest in cultivating my passion for human rights, mental health awareness, and educational equity. For the last 10 years, I’ve been working with multiple nonprofit organizations that fight against poverty, promote equitable immigration policy, advocate for incarcerated survivors of sexual violence, and connect youth with mental health services and resources. I have spearheaded and supported multiple initiatives and programs within these nonprofits that have empowered the people I serve: When I’m not working on various research projects and social impact initiatives, I love making music with family, expanding my photography portfolio, and indulging my love for seeing new places.
