ABOUT SAAHIL LAROKAR

I have a total of 6+ years of work experience in Plumbing Design. My roles and responsibilities are aligned with: • Preparation of Design drawings for Plumbing services as per IPC/UPC/State adopted codes. • Calculation of water demand summary and sewer load summary. • Sizing of water distribution piping, sanitary drainage and vent piping, storm drainage piping, storm drainage systems, gas supply piping. • Reviewing and approving plumbing and fire protection equipment, plumbing fixture submittals, plumbing piping submittals, fire pump, and fire protection piping submittals received from the client and the contractor in light of relevant codes and project standards. • Solving plumbing and fire protection-related issues, queries and RFIs received from the general contractors and the clients in the construction phase of the project. • Preparation of plumbing fixture schedule. • Sizing of water heating system, pumps, mixing valves. • Preparation of prelim Fire protection drawings. • Handling City comments, Client comments, and Hotel Franchise comments (for hotel projects). • Communication with offshore teams and vendors. • Reviewing finished drawings and directing corrections. • Task allocation and team management. • MEP check at the project concept phase. • Scheduling project submissions. • Preparation of shop drawings. • Interdisciplinary coordination with Mechanical, Electrical, Architectural, and Structure teams. • Revise the drawings as per client comments and developing detailed drawings. Also updating as per submittals. • Monitoring the operations of the ongoing projects. • Attending and participating in client calls with the Project Manager and discuss the conflicts and clarification required for the tasks. • Reporting to the Manager regarding any requirement needs in term of extra resources and any other approach needs to be taken for project deliverable.
