Project Dastaan reconnects individuals displaced during the 1947 Partition of India and Pakistan to their ancestral villages through virtual reality technology. We build bridges between India and Pakistan, and hope to educate people about the history and shared cultures of India and Pakistan though storytelling and films. As Pakistan lead, I coordinate between volunteers and cultural heritage organisations in Pakistan, UK and India. My work also includes researching partition stories and interviewing survivors. I also manage the social media accounts for the project, and head all the designing of content and marketing material.
