As Director of People Operations, I lead a team of 5 to drive operational excellence across HR technology, people analytics, compensation, compliance, and facilities. Our shared services hub supports three distinct business units, each with evolving needs.Responsibilities include:• Leading the strategy and execution for People technology and HRIS optimization—enhancing systems to drive automation, improve process efficiency, and elevate user experience through AI-powered tools and insights• Overseeing the collection, storage, and analysis of People data—using advanced analytics to generate insights that inform strategic decision-making• Identifying and implementing automation and AI-driven efficiencies to streamline operations, reduce manual effort, and boost team productivity• Developing, maintaining, and communicating People policies that are legally compliant while considering the ethical implications of emerging technologies in HR decision-making• Ensuring full compliance with employment laws and regulations, supported by audit-ready systems and proactive risk management tools• Aligning People Operations strategies with broader business objectives, adapting processes to the unique rhythms of each business unit, and leveraging data and automation to drive scale• Coaching and developing a high-performing team, fostering a culture that embraces continuous improvement, collaboration, and responsible innovation
