Provide day-to-day Market Data support to HSS business areas. Investigate and resolve queries within agreed procedural guidelines.\\\\n\\\\nTo assist in both the research work for Market Data standards, and the proactive investigation required to ensure the business is prepared to cope with, changes in market practice and moves into new market areas.\\\\n\\\\nMaintain Market Data and carry out testing of systems as requested for existing Market Data processes.\\\\nMonitoring adherence to Market Data procedures and assist with Market Data training as required.\\\\n\\\\nCarry out proactive and reactive research into investment market practices, at instigation of the Assistant Manager, assessing the impact on existing Market Data policies and updating and amending when required.\\\\n\\\\nCarry out project work as required and Liaison with data vendors on quality and service issues.\\\\nMonitoring existing and potential Market Data suppliers to ensure that optimum quality providers are identified and assist with process of vendor change or vendor service changes.\\\\n\\\\nKeep up to date with market developments through liaison with relevant information vendors and review of market publications as directed by Assistant Manager.\\\\n\\\\nContinual assessment of operational risks associated with the role and inherent in the business, taking account of changing economic or market conditions, legal and regulatory requirements, operating procedures and practices, management restructuring and the impact of new technology.\\\\n\\\\nDemonstrates compliance with HSBC Bank plc Group standards, manuals and policies and adheres to the defined work practices, internal controls and risk management standards associated with the role.\\\\nMaintains HSBC internal control standards, including the timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators.\\\\n\\\\n
