ABOUT SALVATORE ANTONIO BIANCARDO
Salvatore Antonio Biancardo is Associate Professor in Roads, Railways and Airports at the Dept of Civil, Construction and Environmental Engineering of the University of Naples Federico II. He is co-founder of the University Spin-Off VIASTRATA for Infrastructure Building Information Management-infraBIM. In 2023, he earned the National Scientific Qualification to Full Professor. He served as Scientific Committees Member and Chairman for many International Conferences. He is Editorial Board Member/Reviewer for several international indexed journal. His main fields of research are BIM for infrastructures, construction and management of infrastructures He is Associate Editor for the Transportation Research Record: Journal of the Transportation Research Board, and the Innovative Infrastructure Solutions. Topic 2. Sustainable Civil Infrastructures. Currently Dr. Biancardo is Member of AFB80 Standing Committee on Geospatial Data Acquisition Technologies in Design and Construction, AED80 Standing Committee on Visualization in Transportation (Transportation Research Board of the National Academies of Sciences).
