About Sean Anderson
I am an Attitude Determination and Control Officer (ADCO) specialist supporting flight operations for the International Space Station. I am responsible for maintaining the motion control system to ensure crew safety, vehicle safety, and mission success.In addition to being a certified flight controller, I am also a Motion Control Group (MCG) Instructor where I train and evaluate ADCO flight controller trainees throughout their training flow.Outside of supporting the ISS Program, I am supporting Extravehicular Activity and Human Surface Mobility Program (EHP) as the Flight Dynamics xEVA Navigation System Lead where I am working to solve the challenge of autonomous, independent navigation on the lunar surface to keep our crew safe during EVAs.Prior to joining Flight Operations at NASA, I obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Purdue University.
