A competent individual who is familiar with all construction methods. He has undertaken various roles including site engineer, site investigator, geotechnical control, planning and programming, cut and fill slope design, retaining wall design and site supervision, flood defense design and ground settlement design. he has acquired the latest knowledge on foundation engineering, ground engineering, slopes and retaining structures, soil mechanics, engineering geology, site investigation and construction management. • Has knowledge and experience covering a variety of geotechnical and civil projects both small and large including the contractual, financial, safety, quality and environmental requirements to ensure the successful delivery of the project within the designated time. • Ability to prepare project brief, specification for ground investigation works, geotechnical investigation and design reports • Ability to carry out geotechnical design of foundation, retaining structures and earthworks for highway projects. • Ability to procure contracts, prepare tender documents and assessments • Ability to relate well with team members, government departments, consultants, contractors, statutory authorities and the general public • Familiar with the British Standards and Euro-codes and the current Highway Standards • Good IT Skills – proficient with standard MS software, geotechnical software.
