About S. Duane Hansen

I am a professor and consultant specializing in organizational behavior, business ethics, strategic management, and healthcare management. My research focuses on trust, leadership, CSR, social exchange, and the healthcare workplace, and has had significant international impact. I have served for nearly a decade on the editorial boards of the Journal of Trust Research and the Journal of Business Ethics—a Top-15 Google Scholar business journal that recently recognized me as a Top Editorial Board Member. I have created, launched, and led multiple academic programs, including two MBA programs and several graduate programs in healthcare management, business development and innovation, and analytics. Across both academic and applied settings, I have held a variety of leadership roles, including program manager, consulting team lead, auditing team lead, department chair, and others. Drawing on this experience and training, my overarching professional goal is to help executives and organizations develop innovative strategies and build high-trust stakeholder relationships that drive meaningful performance outcomes. I have consulted on behalf of a wide range of Fortune 100 and 500 corporations, healthcare organizations, and government entities, and my expertise has been referenced by a variety of media outlets.
