About Souvik Basu
I have over 3 years of experience in the research and development of mechanical systems based on thermal, fluid flow and structural sectors. I also have over 1-year of experience in production, team management and teaching in each sector. And that is after my diploma in mechanical engineering degree. To say that, diversity and the passion for designing is an understatement, as it is love that continuously helped me overcome obstacles, embrace challenges, and keep my career moving forward.Currently, I am in the role of project assistant, including the work of design and analysis of mechanical systems used in fibre laser modules, and high power electronics and designing enclosures for them, optical engine setup, splicing of optical fibre with various splicers, development of optical fibre components to ensure the project has to deliver correctly on-time, and on-budget. Some of my designs are patented also.I am experienced in design using CAD software like AutoCAD, SOLIDWORKS, and simulation using Ansys, and in addition C Programming, and I am always adding skills to my professional range.I am eager to meet the opportunities as Mechanical Design Engineer in other companies where I can show my expertise to achieve their goals, so feel free to offer and connect!
