About Ryan Neumann
In May of 2020, I graduated NYU with a B.S. in Communications that concentrated on Business of Entertainment and Media. I spent the last three years working as a Set PA on various TV shows and films in and around NYC. As a PA, I was tasked with a wide array of responsibilities crucial in the process of filmmaking. From processing background extras and helping direct them on set, to interfacing with all departments, the diversity of my work resulted in a multi-faceted knowledge of the production process and industry overall. The learn-as-you-go nature of my job has further accentuated my existing proficiencies in multitasking/adaptability in a face-paced, high-pressure environment. It also keeps me constantly strengthening my ability to think intuitively and holistically, allowing me to perform with maximum efficacy. My experience on the production side of the industry gives me a unique perspective in my new role on the business side.
