I’ve led healthcare operations teams for over two decades. My teams were called upon to do what other teams could not do. Whether we revolutionized the patient experience to top decile, turned around physician engagement to top tier, optimized operations to efficient expense benchmarks, or elevated productivity to enterprise targets; my teams always kept and continue to keep the mission at the center, the strategy at the core, and the culture in top health.Healthcare can be such a tough environment. Yet, when talented leaders kept the structure simple, the objectives clear, the path well thought out, and allow the frontline caregivers to lead with the ideas and action to move… we win! This is what energizes me everyday.I love to be active with my family, friends, and community. He joined the Shriners Children’s enterprise executive team to lead the Shriners Children’s Medical Group which spans 22 states and 3 countries. Reporting to the EVP & COO of the system, Ryan with his dyad physician partner, sets the strategic direction, operating model, quality standards, and research targets for the medical group to achieve; advancing the Shriners Children’s mission to improve and change children’s lives. Ryan is thrilled to be invited back to Shriners having served the organization for nearly a decade 11 years ago.
