About Rymar Hernandez
Hello! I am Rymar (Ree-Mar), a Senior at Washington State University majoring in Accounting and Finance and a minor in Psychology. Where I am from, the norm for a career has always been in manual labor - agriculture, but I want to change this pattern. Specifically, as a first generation and migrant student I recognized the need for change in terms of career in my family tree as most of those around me had multiple financial difficulties.I did not know early on what I wanted to do to create this change, but a shaping experience I had was joining High School DECA. Through DECA I discovered my my passion for leadership and studying finance and accounting. With this in mind I decided to double major in Accounting and Finance at WSU and pursue my CPA licensure. I strive towards any difficulties with the first generation Latina pride I so dearly hold to my heart at all times.
