ABOUT RYLAND FRENCH

My expertise is in energy efficiency and electrification in the built environment, with an emphasis on mechanical systems. I bring experience in leadership, designing and implementing programs, and scoping and managing projects. My subject matter knowledge also encompasses energy benchmarking, building automation optimization, building envelope performance, indoor air quality, commissioning, distributed energy production and storage, climate action planning, water conservation, and sustainable custodial management.Passion for people and nature drive me to pursue excellence as a serial collaborator, diligent learner, devout communicator, and believer in mentorship. Be it in business, government, nonprofits or utilities, I deliver results by navigating competing demands with organization, prioritization, accountability and purpose.I hold the corequisite experience needed to move effective work forward. Business wise, that includes strategic planning, workplanning, fiscal management, marketing, and public speaking. In terms of soft skills, that incorporates external relationship building and internally leading or contributing to high performing teams.Other loves of mine include writing, wedding officiating, reading, meditation, music, food, travel, snowboarding, spending time with family and friends, and racing on foot, by bike and in triathlons.
