ABOUT RYLAN MAYBERRY
I am a dedicated public safety professional with experience in law enforcement support, community safety, and emergency response. I’m currently a Community Safety Officer with the City of Selkirk, where I enforce municipal bylaws, provincial legislation, respond to public safety concerns, and assist in emergency situations.Previously, I worked as an Institutional Safety Officer at the University of Manitoba, where I focused on maintaining a safe campus environment through proactive patrols, hazard prevention, and collaboration with local law enforcement. I have also served as a Ground Searcher with Winnipeg Search and Rescue, taking part in critical search and recovery operations, and as a Special Constable Sergeant with Winnipeg Police Service’s Document Services under the Commissionaires, where I supervised operations and ensured compliance with policy and procedure.My career has always been driven by a commitment to serve. I am passionate about contributing to community well-being and public safety, and I look forward to continuing to build on my experience in enforcement, emergency response, and community engagement.
