ABOUT RYLAN BROWN
I’m a fourth-year student at Ohio University pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Strategic Leadership & Management and Business Analytics, with a minor in Marketing. I’m passionate about setting ambitious goals and working persistently to achieve them. I thrive in environments surrounded by academically driven and career-focused individuals and enjoy stepping outside my comfort zone to pursue new opportunities. At OU, I’ve been actively involved in Ohio Women in Business, where I’ve expanded my professional network and developed valuable career skills. I’m also a proud member of Alpha Gamma Delta, an organization that has empowered me to embrace leadership roles and grow in confidence, organization, and collaboration. One of the most impactful experiences of my academic journey was participating in the Global Consulting Program in Dijon, France. My team collaborated with French business students from The Burgundy School of Business to complete a consulting project for Maison Philippe Le Bon, a historic hotel, restaurant, and bar. Together, we developed strategies to enhance brand visibility, attract new clientele, and improve the guest experience. This experience sharpened my cross-cultural communication, adaptability, and teamwork skills.This past summer, I interned with Bread Financial on the Supplier Risk Management team. I gained hands-on experience in supplier risk oversight, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration. My projects included building a Team Tracker, consolidating reports in Coupa Risk Assess, and reviewing supplier performance scorecards and marketing influencers. Through this internship, I strengthened my skills in system navigation, communication, and data-driven decision-making. I’m now continuing at Bread Financial as a Student Associate, further expanding my knowledge of supplier strategy and corporate operations. I’m excited about what’s ahead and always open to new opportunities to connect, collaborate, and grow.
