About Ryan Bennett

I started at Visa in the Software Configuration Management (SCM) team for Visa Debit in 2001. My primary responsibilities were to implement and maintain a tool called CA-Endevor. I eventually became the SCM Manager for all Tandem, MVS, TPF based systems, managing people in Denver, California, Texas, and Singapore and had a primary responsibility of creating and coordinating all Visa Debit related Maintenance Release schedules.During the same period, I had finished my Master\'s degree in Information Technology and was nominated to become and hold the position of President of the Colorado Endevor Users Group. I held this position for this regional user group for 7 years.In 2011 I moved to the Software Asset Management (SAM) team. In this role I assisted with creating and improving processes to help tracking and coordinate Visa software purchases to ensure compliance. I also had a hand in automating and improving delivery mechanisms for delivering workstation software to end-users with less complexity and effort via the Flexera Software Portal.Most recently I have moved to the Vendor and Procurement team to assist with budgeting, forecasting and vendor management. In this role I have also been a key contributor and in defining and implementing new tools and process for procurement. These reports and work flow tools assist our Senior leadership in making strategic financial decision\'s as well as helping our sourcing team negotiate better deals for by knowing ahead of time what\'s needed at a macro and micro level.I spend the majority of my free time with my Wife and kids. When I\'m not running the kids around from Baseball, Football, Karate, or Gymnastics. I enjoy going to the Movies, Volunteering, Investing, Camping, Mountain Biking, Snowboarding, Woodworking, Inventing, and 4 Wheeling.
